The terms that govern your use of Machinery Regulation Check and your purchase of a report.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Machinery Regulation Check at machineryregulationcheck.com and your purchase of the report we provide (a decision-support report on the scope and conformity route of a machine under Regulation (EU) 2023/1230). By using this site or buying a report, you agree to these Terms.
1. What you are buying
Machinery Regulation Check sells a one-time report for €99. The report screens the machine profile you supply against Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 and presents whether the machine appears to be in scope, its Annex I classification, the conformity route with its Article 25 reference, the documentation you must hold, and a dated action checklist, each cited to its article or annex.
2. The report is decision-support, not legal advice
The report is provided for general informational purposes only. It is a screening of your answers against the Regulation, not a professional service, and it is not, and must not be relied on as, legal, compliance, regulatory, or any other professional advice. It is not an official conformity assessment, type-examination, or certification, and it does not create a professional-client relationship. It is not a substitute for advice from qualified counsel or the work of a notified body. You are solely responsible for any decision you make, and you should confirm scope and final classification against the Regulation and, where the route requires it, a notified body before acting.
3. Independence and no affiliation
Machinery Regulation Check is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the European Union, the European Commission, any national authority or any notified body. Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 and official guidance are cited as public sources.
4. No warranty
The report and this site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. The Regulation is complex, several elements depend on implementing and delegated acts and on a harmonised-standards list that changes over time, and public sources can contain errors, gaps, or out-of-date figures. We do not warrant that the report is accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Machinery Regulation Check, its operators, and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the site or the report. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the report or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the report (€99). Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer.
6. Refunds
Because the report is a digital product delivered immediately, refunds are provided for delivery failure, for example if you paid but did not receive your report, or the report could not be generated for the parameters you supplied. If your report failed to arrive or cannot be produced, email hello@machineryregulationcheck.com and we will re-deliver it or refund your purchase. If you believe a specific determination in your report is wrong, contact us: we will investigate and, where a delivery or generation fault is on our side, make it right.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: resell, republish, or redistribute the report as your own product; scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract content from the site; attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure; or use the site or report for any unlawful purpose. The report is licensed to you for your own internal business use.
8. Intellectual property
The site, its design, its text, and the report format are owned by Machinery Regulation Check and protected by intellectual-property laws. Underlying public sources referenced in the report, including Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, belong to their respective authorities. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the report you purchase for your own purposes.
9. Third-party services
Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. Analytics are provided by Fathom Analytics. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services, though we choose them with your privacy in mind (see our Privacy Policy).
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
